Introduction
The RS-315 / RS-320 Packaging Drop Tester Series is designed for controlled face, edge and corner drop testing of complete, filled transport packages.
With a maximum test load of 80 kg and selectable drop heights up to 2000 mm, the series is suitable for packaging development, transportation simulation and quality control across electronics, appliances, automotive parts, consumer goods and industrial products.
Motorized lifting, electromagnetic release and a rigid steel impact platform provide a practical and repeatable setup for laboratory package drop testing.

RS-315 is suitable for most routine package drop tests within a 1500 mm height range.
Choose RS-320 when your internal specification, customer requirement or test procedure requires drop heights between 1500 and 2000 mm.

How the Drop Test Works
01 — Position
Place the package on the fixture and set the required face, edge or corner orientation.
02 — Set Height
Raise the specimen electrically to the required drop height.
03 — Release
The electromagnetic mechanism releases the package for free fall onto the impact platform.
04 — Inspect
Check the package, cushioning material and product for damage, deformation or functional failure.
Position → Set Height → Release → Inspect
The procedure can then be repeated for other package orientations according to the applicable test method

Installation & Safety
The machine should be installed on a flat and level floor with sufficient surrounding space for specimen loading and safe operation.
Before installation, confirm:
- Available floor and ceiling space
- Machine access route
- Required electrical supply
- Reliable grounding
- Maximum package dimensions and weight
Operators should remain clear of the impact area during a drop test. An emergency stop is provided for abnormal operating conditions.
For repeated testing, allow the machine to complete its reset sequence before repositioning the specimen.
